Dr. [Dear] Sir,
Annexed you have two resolutions passed by the Liberty Independent Troop.
Resolved: That we offer our services (by tomorrows mail) to the Governor to March to any point in Florida which he may direct to act against the Indians.
Resolved: That inasmuch as there has been an increase in our numbers. The Governor be requested to send us twenty four braces of pistols & a like number of swords as they are needed for the equipment of the corps.
