- This document is a survey report and map, dated June 7, 1821, from commissioner Wilson Lumpkin, later Governor of Georgia (1831-1835), that describes a tract of land on Beaver Creek in Creek Indian territory belonging to Buckey Barnard. The land was reserved under the Treaty of Indian Springs (January 8, 1821) between the Creeks and the United States. This document was probably one of a series of land surveys conducted by Lumpkin in May and June of 1821 and is related to tcc042, tcc471, tcc508, and tcc526.

The above plat is a representation of that tract of land -- situate lying & being on Beaver Creek, the title & possession of which was reserved to the Creek Nation (so long as the present occupant shall remain in the personal possession thereof) by the provisions contained in the late treaty concluded between the United States and the Creek nation of Indians, at the Indian Spring on the
8th. day of January 1821. including the improvements of Buckey Barnard. Surveyed under the authority of the President of the United States -- on the
7th day of June 1821.
