In compliance with your Excellency's Letters to Genl. [General] Floyd of the 22nd ulto. The Sheriff has reported that two Indian Horses have been Seized & and we [unclear text: request ] that [missing word: you ] will be pleased to direct what shall be done with them & with the property that may hereafter be taken.... the expense of conveying these horses (which are very small, & of little value) to Milledgeville, would be more than they are worth and five Dollars has been paid to [unclear text: a man ] after one of them --
A Warrant has been issued for the apprehension of the persons named in the affidavit of Mr. Barber, but our impression is that they will not come on this side of the River. --
No exertion shall be wanting on the part
