- This document is a letter from William Hill, assistant agent to the Creek Indians, to Georgia Governor John Milledge (1802-1806), dated June 7, 1804. He refers to several enclosed letters directed to the governor that are no longer attached. In addition, he informs the governor that he will wait until the arrival of General Meriweather (David Meriwether ?) before going on to a conference with the Creeks at Tookaubatchee (also Tuckabatchie, Tuckabatchee, Tuckabatchi.)

17th May marked no.1 Col. [Colonel] Hawkines answer no.2 Mr. Barnards letter no. 3 of the same date and place no 4 Col. [Colonel] Hawkinses answer Mr. Durozeux letter no.5 which contains all the information on the proceedings of running the line that has come to come to this place
