- This document is a letter from U. S. Surveyor Thomas Freeman to Georgia Governor John Milledge, dated September 30, 1804. At the request of General Clark, Freeman transmits the rough draft of the temporary boundary line drawn between Georgia and the Creek Nation from the mouth of Goose Creek to the source of St. Mary's River. Draft no longer attached.
