To His Excellency, Edward Telfair Esquire Governor & Commander in Chief in and over the State of Georgia.
The petition of Edward White, humbly sheweth [shows], that your petitionor [petitioner] is desirous of Trading with the Indians, and prays that your Excellency will grant him Licence [License] for that purpose, agreably [agreeably] to the Law of the State, in that case made and provided.
Your petitioner in duty bound will ever pray.
