I take authority to inform you since we left you we [unclear text: haven ] got home consequence of Hostile, I met my Friends at Flint River. William Miller, and [illegible text] tustonuggee and they tell me that they ran them of threaden [off threatened] to kill them, Cut their throad [throat] and sit up by the road for show, they are determine to die on their own Country, and they appoint men to kill seven chiefs Genl [General] McIntosh miself [myself] Joseph Marshall Samuel Hawkins, James Island Etomme tustenuggee and Col [Colonel] W Miller, and Since the treaty the Hostile party been in coucil [council] second time in Broke arrow and now at this time they all at [unclear text: Tobatchee ] holding council, they haven [haven't] Broke up yet, but we understand that they sent memorial on to President to not interfear [interfere] with them, let them settle among themself [themselves], [unclear text: never ] assist us, now [know] doubt they determine to distroy [destroy] us, if they could, and my Father we parted at the Indian Spring on way home since I heard the news I sent runers [runners] on to him not to stay one moment at home, but meet me at this place, excuse my hand writing, and this is not half I know, but the bearer of this letter is in hurry, Remain your Son
