Mr. McIntosh
Sir this Morning I received your favor and to the [unclear text: Sequair ] With it. Told it to the peoples that was the [unclear text: thear ] But they Did not Send it on to the [unclear text: Tuckabatchess ] yesterday two men came from the Tuckabatchess With News from [unclear text: thy ] people that was [unclear text: beseiged ] in their Intrenchment [Entrenchment] that they would be Home in Six Day [unclear text: as ] the Enemies had all gone away from them they were to come out the Next Day, and would be Home in Six Day' Except the Cowettaw Who [unclear text: Whaer [Were] ] bringing the Big Warrior them to Settle Down hear [here] Some Wheor [Where] Jas. [James] Marshall [unclear text: is Wound ] in the head and [unclear text: Saufolockes ] in Shoulder but the Bulletts [Bullets] did not Enter the Skin and Two [unclear text: Cussitaws ] but the [unclear text: bulett [bullet] ], has not Entered the flesh of any of them all the rest are Safe and Well this is all at present. They Dont [Don't] wont [want] any help at present untill [until] they hear farther from the uper [upper] Towens [Towns] as soon as they all Send you Word again how Everything is With us No more as present from your frend [friend]
