I am informed and am veary [very] [unclear text: shore [sure] ] it is [unclear text: trou [true] ] that the witepeopell [white people] is a Cumin [Coming] for to desturb [disturb] us in the Spring wich [which] it was not the talkes [talks] we had at [unclear text: Sinecer ] the talkes [talks] we have we all howld [held] fast and wants [want] for to Live in pece [peace] and frindship [friendship] with all ow [our] [unclear text: Dist [Distinguished] ] Brothers the witepeopell [white people] But when we was at [unclear text: Sinecer ] the Governer [Governor] John [unclear text: Seveer ] and severrell [several] more waryers [warriors] Came with him and Brought a greate [great] many men with them came throw [through] oure [our] towns wich [which] cawsed [caused] oure [our] wimin [women] and Chrildren [Children] for to Run and [unclear text: perish ] in the woods and the [they] Broke oure [our] dores [doors] and Robbed the houses and the [they] say the [they] will be heare [here] in the Spring and take oure [our] hunting Land from us and [unclear text: settele [settle] ] at the Mushel Shoules with that Land Belonas [Belongs] to the Cricks Chickesaws. Chickesaws is [illegible text] as much as it does to us thearefore [therefore] we have sent Runners of far to aquant [aquaint] all the nashons [nations] for to be at the sade [said] hunting ground in the spring we donot [do not] want anay [any] war if the wite peopell [white people] will let us live in peace we desire you will try and put a stop to theare [their] Comin [Coming] I have hiard [heard] my Brothers at [unclear text: Sinecer ] and all thinks of it [unclear text: we ] think you can stop the Badpeopell [people] from Cummin [Coming] for to trubell [trouble] us friends and Brothers we Beg you well [will] send us a answer as soone [soon] as possabell [possible] as we may no [know] weather [whether] we can Live at pece [peace] or no
