I herewith enclose you, duplicate plats & certificates of the Indian reservations recognized by the late Creek Treaty. I have the authority of the Secretary of War, for transmiting [transmitting] these plats to you as Governor of Georgia -- Therefore send them officially, under the impression that they may [document is damaged] [unclear text: be ] found a [document is damaged] in the executive office of the State.

The treaty line commences at the head of the Western fork, or branch of Flint River -- Beginning at a corner Maple, (having six branches a short distance above the roots); running thence North 24° West about eight miles and a half to a large pine corner, on ground somewhat elevated -- being a long leaf pine, & the [unclear text: pointers ] around it of the same description. Thence North 45 [unclear text: ° ] East, about 45 Chain crossing Buzzard roost Creek to a white Oak Corner immediately on the bank of the Creek -- Thence North 70° East about 45 Chain to a corner hickory -- Thence North 15° East perhaps upwards of three miles to a corner Lynn on the Eastern bank of the Chatahoochy River.
