As I have been ordered by the Secretary of War to retake the property of Ambrose Harnage which has been Illegally taken from [unclear text: Sd [Said] ] Harnage by James Foreman at the Instance of Mr Joseph Lynch and as there are four of his negro yet missing (viz) Polly & Pheby & her two boys.
Mr. John Miller Intr. [Interpreter] will proced [proceed] forth with and take them [unclear text: wherever ] to be found and bring them to me at that place at Judge Browns
