[added text (appears to be different hand and ink): Gov Ga ] I yesterday received a communication from M Genl. [Major General] Floyd, giving a detailed account, of the situation of our affairs with the Indian tribes, bordering on the St Mary's, I find that our people has made two several attacks, on the Indians and have killed and wounded [deleted text: Several ] a number of them, so that times are becoming [illegible text] in that quarter. I should be glad if would be Convenient for you to be in Town in the course of two or three days when the matter shall be laid before you.
