- This document is a land grant, including a map and survey report, for a plot of land in Early County, Georgia granted to Zachariah Coward on November 3, 1824. This land was acquired by the state of Georgia from the Creek and Cherokee Nations pursuant to acts passed by the Georgia Assembly in December 1818 and December 1819. The land was granted by George M. Troup, Governor of Georgia (1823-1827). The survey was conducted on January 26, 1820.
