- This is a land grant, including a map and survey report, for a plot in Early County, Georgia granted to David Archer of Scriven County, Georgia on May 11, 1821. The land was obtained by the state of Georgia in unnamed treaties with the Creek and Cherokee Indians and distributed by acts of the Georgia assembly passed in December 1818 and December 1819. The land was granted under the authority of John Clark, Governor of Georgia (1819-1823). The plot was surveyed on January 26, 1820.
