- This document is a land grant, including a map and survey report, for a plot in Early County, Georgia granted to Nathan Posey on July 23, 1822 by authority of John Clark, Governor of Georgia (1819-1823). The land was acquired by the state of Georgia from the Creek and Cherokee Indians pursuant to acts of the general assembly passed in December 1818 and December 1819. The land was surveyed on the 26th of January, 1820.
