- Receipt for goods received of Levi Sheftall, U.S. agent, dated August 17, 1807. Arthur C. Greene received the goods, including iron, steel, and kegs of (rum ?), which were to be delivered to Jonathan Halstead, a factor at the Ocmulgee Old Fields (Bibb County, Georgia). Margin notes indicate that the goods may have been part of the Upper and Lower Creek annuities, and Colonel Benjamin Hawkins, U.S. Agent to the Creeks, is referred to here. Greene was to be paid a portion of his fee at the time of delivery and the remainder in Savannah, Georgia.
