- This document is a reply to Captain Isaac S. Vincent, commander of the Georgia Volunteers at Cedar Town (Paulding County, Ga.) from Brigadier General Charles Floyd respecting orders from Major General Scott pertaining to the removal of the Cherokee Indians from Georgia. Vincent is required to send the Cherokees in his charge to Ross's Landing, one of three emigration depots, with sufficient provisions.
