The Creeks have committed Sundry depredations in the Counties of Washington & Greene and Orders were immediately Issued to give aid to the Settlers from the Other Counties --
It is now time you take your Gun up. the field is now open for execution they have killed four or five of our people, and all the annoyance they have as yet received was by the Spirited and well directed exertions of Colo. [Colonel] Clark who -- pursued the party and killed two of them
It is my wish you apply to Colo. [Colonel] Clements and Confer with him on the elegibility [eligibility] of raising one or two Companies of Horse and Such Officers as may be approved of by him and recommended by the Field Officers of
