In behalf of the Cherokee Nation East, embracing within its limits the grantees referred to in the Grant made to the Tribe the time the Treaty of peace was concluded between the United States and France on the one part And Great Britain and her Ally the Cherokees on the other in the year
1783, Which contains the boundary specified in the Act of that year, Beginning on the Tennessee River at a Point below the Chickamauga Battle groun [ground] west of Chattanooga, Thence South to the line of the State of Georgia, thence East with that line to the corner of the state of South Carolina, thence East with the line of that state to the corner of the States of South and No [North] Carolina Thence with the top of the Blue Ridge East to a point South of the head of Pigeon River, Thence down that River to the French Broad, Thence down that River to the French Broad [Thence down that River to the French Broad,], Thence down that River to the Holstein, Thence down that River to the Tennessee River, Thence down that River to the beginning Whereas the lands given in for taxes and claimed and occupied by you are within that boundary, confirmed to the Indians by the Constitution of the united States of
1787, As well as the Treaty of Hopewell. Acknowledged and confirmed by the Supreme Court of North Carolina in the case of Euchella vs. Welch

, The demand of the possession of the lands claimed and occupied by you is hereby made in favor of said Indians In accordance with the requirements of the supreme court of the united States before bringing Suit for the same
You will please indorse [endorse] upon the back of this notice whether you desire to have a Suit in the Supreme Court of the united States to test tittles [titles] . The rejection or acceptance to be endorsed and witnessed
