- Dalton, ca. 1959. Mrs. B. J. Bandy and unidentified man pose for a photograph in Mrs. Bandy's home. Mrs. Bandy was involved in the saying and restoration of the Vann House located at Spring Place in Murray County. She served as president of the Whitfield-Murray County Historical Society during the period. The portrait is that of Joseph Vann, the son of James Vann who had completed the Vann House in 1805. The portrait now hangs in the Vann House.
