- Dalton, ca. 1930? Henry Losson Smith (1866-1957). He graduated from the Georgia School of Technology, now known as the Georgia Institute of Technology. He and Mrs. L. S. Westcott were operators of the Smith Manufacturing Company. The company had been started in 1895 by Rev. M. D. Smith, Sr. It manufactured canvas products, especially tents and tarpaulins.
