- Dalton, ca. 1924. Interior of the office of Manly Jail Works located on Glenwood Avenue. Frank Manly founded this company in 1888. The company makes jail cells, builds jails, and serves clients throughout the country. Mr. Manly's sons, Judson and Howard, later became partners in the business. Today it is known as Manly Steel. Frank Manly is seated and Judson Manly is standing. Note the stove and cash register at the left. The rolltop desk at the right, and the dog named Pat.
