- Warrenton, ca. 1935? Charlie Elijah Parham (1895-1968) seen behind his home which was located on Academy Street. The two women at the left may have been his sisters. Note the well, the wooden tub, the mule and goat. Mr. Parham is said to have been one of the first blacks to register to vote in Warrenton.
