- Description:
- White County, ca. 1906. Hotel in Nacoochee Valley which was built ca. 1898 by the Alley family and known as The Alley House. It had over 20 rooms. In the late 1930s the hotel was purchased by a Mrs. Templeton. Later the same Alley family again owned the hotel. In 1972 John and Emily Anthony purchased it. It is known as The Sautee Inn-Restaurant and is located 100 yards west of the intersection of GA Highways 17 and 255.
