- Sandersville. Twelve historical plates whose design and manufacture was commissioned by the Transylvania Club of Sandersville to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the founding of Georgia. They were manufactured by the Wedgewood Company based on designs of Louise Irwin. In 1974 House Resolution 573 was passed designating these plates as the official Georgia Historical Plates.
