- Description:
- Washington County, 1966-1967. Cabin on the Francis Plantation which is located near Davisboro on Josey Church Road. The cabin may at one time have been used by slaves. The land which comprises the plantation was obtained by Cordall Francis in 1783. The plantation house was built by W. B. Francis circa 1856. Both land and house have been in the Francis family ever since.
