- LaGrange, 1938-1939. Construction of a new Troup County Courthouse located at the corner of Ridley Avenue and Haralson Street. This structure replaces the courthouse that was destroyed by fire on Nov. 5, 1936. The new courthouse, constructed of marble, was opened in October of 1939.
