- Mountville, 1970s. U.S. Post Office at Mountville located in a trailer. Arthur D. Moore, retired postmaster, seen talking to a woman in front of the trailer. From Nov. 1947 until 1968 the post office had been located in a grocery store and general merchandise store owned by Mr. Moore. It was destroyed by fire in 1968.
