- LaGrange, ca. 1927. A man at the Troup Warehouse located on Main Street writes up a cotton receipt for identification using the same number as was used to tag the bales of cotton. Equipment partially seen at left was used to weigh the bales of cotton. The blackboard at the right lists cotton weights and prices in New York and New Orleans. This site is now occupied by Skinner's and the Town Theatre.
