- LaGrange, ca. early 1920s. Students at LaGrange Female College shown reading and studying in one of the rooms provided for this purpose. The college was begun in 1831 as LaGrange Female Academy and has had several names over the years. In 1953 it became coeducational. It is now known as LaGrange College.
