- LaGrange, 1904-1936. The Troup County Courthouse. Located on Court Square, it was built in 1904 by the C. C. Totherow Construction Company. It was destroyed by fire Nov. 5, 1936. A new courthouse was erected on Ridley Avenue. In foreground is Confederate Monument which was dedicated in 1902.
