- LaGrange, 1975-1976. Interior of parlor in Heard-Beall-Dallis home located at 206 Broad Street. Note the window treatment, furnishings (including corner chair at left), fireplace, rugs. The older portion of the home was built by George W. Heard ca. 1830. Other rooms and the Greek Revival exterior were added by other Heards ca. 1836-1855. Members of the Beall and Dallis families have owned the home, too. Mrs. Mary Clayton is the current owner, as of 1979.
