- LaGrange, ca. 1944. Interior of Fokes Drugstore showing cosmetic counter. At left is Mrs. Hubert Quillian, Sr. At right is Mrs. Clyde Lovejoy Stevens. Mrs. Stevens headed the Troup County Red Cross Volunteer Services. Mrs. Stevens' position at the store was to assist servicemen writing letters and making purchases. Note the items offered for sale. The drugstore was located on Main Street.
