2003/07/17: In 1906, three short lines consolidated to form the Georgia Coast and Piedmont Railroad: the Collins and Reidsville Railroad (built between Collins and Reidsville in 1906), the Reidsville and Southeastern Railroad (built between 1905 and 1906, spanning from Reidsville to Ludowici), and the Darien and Western Railroad (built in 1904, spanning Ludowici and Darien). The railroad also included a 2-mile railway from Crescent to Belleville and a 3-mile railway from Hilton Junction to Foxtown. - External Identifiers:
