- Americus, ca. 1943-1945. Glover-Council house located on Lee Street. This Victorian structure was built for George W. Glover. There was a ballroom on the top story. It was later purchased by Charles Monroe Council. It was destroyed by fire in 1949 and the First Baptist Church now occupies the site.
