- Rockdale County, 1979. Peek's Chapel Baptist Church located on Old Salem Road southeast of Conyers. It was organized in 1868 as the Pine Bluff Baptist Church. The name of this black church was changed in 1901 when a new church building was constructed on land donated by W. L. Peek.
