- Conyers, July 2, 1922. This group of people provided talent for a radio concert broadcast by WSB Radio in Atlanta. It is said to have been the first group from outside Atlanta to provide talent for a radio broadcast in the south. Front row, left to right: Mildred Langford, Mary Ethel Tucker, Mrs. H. H. Elliott (director of the program), Alpha Seamons Langford, Mildred Plunkett, Maude Tucker. Back row: Joe M. Towns, Ed L. Cowans (instrumental in arranging the concert) Irma McRae, Mrs. Robert O.
