- Cuthbert, ca. 1911. Etheldra Prothro King (Mrs. Walter Ernest). Note the hair style of the period and note her dress. She was born February 9, 1886 and died March 6, 1962. Mrs. King was especially active in gardening. She was the third president of the Cuthbert Garden Club and served in that capacity for about thirteen years. She was instrumental in the establishment of Iris Garden in Cuthbert, a garden and park facing College Street.
