- Description:
- Patterson Hospital. It was established by Doctor Frederick Davis Patterson in January of 1915. This structure was completed by July 1, 1947. It replaced the previous structure which had been completely destroyed by fire. It remained a private hospital until the fall of 1961 when it came under the direction of the Hospital Authority of Randolph County.
