- Cuthbert, 1923. Interior of the Mattox and Reid Dry Goods Store located on the southeast corner of the square. The two women are Edna Mattox Moore (left) and Maud Mattox Williford (right). One of the men is Robert Sharp Mattox, Sr., who founded the store ca. 1916. The other man is Mr. Boyd, a salesman who had arrived with his trunk (seen in foreground) full of suit samples.
