- Description:
- Cuthbert. Home of David Rumph located on Court Street. He had it built ca. 1838 for his bride. The builder was George T. Wood. Lumber came down the Chattahoochee River to Fort Gaines and from there to Cuthbert by wagon. Although the interior has been remodeled over the years, the exterior remains much the same. The home has been used as the Patterson Hospital and as the Colonial Inn.
