- Cuthbert, 1900. Home of James John McDonald (1845-1909). He was a planter and businessman in Cuthbert. He also served in the Georgia House of Representatives. During the Civil War he was in Company A, Second Regiment Georgia Volunteer Cavalry. Note the Victorian architecture and the garden.
