- Clayton, 1944. Interior of a drugstore. Lillian Eugenia Smith (1897-1966) is standing at the back beside a table. She was a noted author. Her father, Rev. C. W. Smith, began the Laurel Falls Camp in 1920. She took over as director of the camp ca. 1925 until 1949.
