- Rabun County, Aug. 28, 1931. This was the first automobile to reach the top of Black Rock Mountain when the scenic road from Clayton to the top of the mountain was opened. The driver was Margaret Gray Johnson of New York and Augusta, Ga. With her were Nisbit LeConte of Atlanta and Florida Johnson of Augusta.
