- Clayton, ca. 1955. Group of local people who were used as extras during the shooting of Walt Disney's film "The Great Locomotive Chase." Filming took place in Clayton and along the Tallulah Falls Railroad. Western and Atlantic Railroad locomotive, the Texas, was used in the film. This engine was actually one of the two that took part in Andrews' Raid in April 1862. Left to right: ?, Mr. and Mrs. Thompson, ____ Norton, Dot Hendrix, Bud Crone, Jack Green, Harley Shepherd, Lamar Patterson, H. J. Raney, Fred May, Herschel Tomlin. They are standing beside the depot.
