- Clayton, 1916. Students at the Logan E. Bleckley Memorial Institute pose for a photograph in front of the high school operated by Baptists as a boarding school. Among those seen in the photograph are the following: James Keener, Nola James, Maud Earl, Drewina Bleckley, Marley House, Ida Dillard, Cassie Kell, Maggie Dillard, Lucy Dillard, Birdie Greenwood, Stockton Hall, Eula Bleckley, Maude Cannon, Vera Cannon, Tullie Crisp, Nora James, Prelo Kell. The school was destroyed by fire in 1923.
