Putnam's county commissioners have gone all out in the Champion Hometown Contest by completely renovating the courthouse and repainting the jail and sheriff's home. . . . [ . . . ]ed lights throughout the courthouse have been replaced by bright new flourescent lights. Many of the office fireplaces were re-bricked and new floors put in.
