- Thomasville (Thomas County), 1920. Hooper Alexander (1858-1934) shown facing forward in this photograph spoke at the dedication of the bridge over the Ochlockonee River. Occasion took place on Armistice Day. Alexander was a prominent lawyer, member of the Georgia House, U.S. Attorney for Northern District of Ga., unsuccessful candidate for governor.
