- Columbus, Jan. 15, 1973. First National Bank located at 11th Street and Broadway was begun prior to the Civil War and completed after it ended. It is in the Italian Renaissance style and has a cast-iron facade on two sides. The building was originally built for offices of Georgia Home Insurance Company.
