- Columbus, ca. 1905-1910. 14th Street Bridge across the Chattahoochee. A wooden covered bridge was dismanteled in 1905 to be replaced by this steel girder structure. Note streetcar. Sign atop bridge reads "$5.00 Fine for Going Faster than a Walk."
